Residents of Austin, Larry and Paula Waller bring years of business experience and knowledge to Stone and Tile Fixit. They previously lived in Oklahoma City, where Larry founded the stone fabrication, stone restoration, and tile installation business Custom Tile & Marble, Inc. in 1992. The state-of-the-art equipment, exclusive imported tile, quality craftsmanship, and excellent customer service helped grow the business into an industry leader.
With an opportunity to fulfill their cruising dream, they sold the business in 2008 and Paula retired from a professorship at OSU-OKC. They purchased a Valiant sailboat and began cruising the East Coast and the Bahamas.
Deciding the time was right to live on land again, they sold their boat and bought a home in Austin in 2014. They already knew Austin well from years of frequent family and business trips. They have been landscaping their yard into vegetable and hummingbird gardens. Larry has built some water features as well. If not in their yard, other leisure time is spent listening to live music and dancing at The Continental Club, The Back Stage, or some other great venue in Austin.
